From a recording studio to the anime world in VR, see how veteran voice actor Keiji (played by Shin-ichiro Miki) returns to voice acting in the fictional anime series "UltraForce TAMS".

AR Voice Battle originated as a feature film pitch in 2016, and has so far produced a 90 second concept film, followed by the immersive 360˚ VR short film which received the Best VR Film Award at Mt. Fuji Atami Film & VR Festival in 2019. With renowned Japanese character designer and additional cast members coming onboard, an interactive VR sequel is currently in the works.

Ultraforce TAMS is a fictional anime series about a five member elite unit battling a dark evil cult known as Under X. The series supposedly ended 25 years ago in the climatic episode when an unforeseeable dark matter cloud destroyed much of Central Japan.

In AR Voice Battle, the original voice casts of Ultraforce TAMS return to their roles in a new film set in the post-apocalyptic future. Under X resurfaces three years after the dark matter tragedy with a deadly army of Creepers as they plan to take control of Neo-Tokyo, the last city of hope. While TAMS tries to pull out all the stops on Under X’s plan, a real battle is actually developing in the recording studio…

Adopted by a covert military orphanage, KEIJI received combat and flight training at a young age. At 16 he was the first of five orphans to test drive a newly developed Tactical Armored Mech Suit (TAMS) in an effort to combat increasing violence in Neo Tokyo. A five-member special unit, “Ultraforce TAMS” lead by KEIJI was formed a year later. Calm and diligent, he has a knack for battle strategy and equips a flamethrower as his weapon of choice.
